Privacy Policy – Mossage

1. Information We Collect

Business listing information: shop name, category, description, address, phone number, WhatsApp number, owner name, and any other details you voluntarily provide.
Account information: email address, display name, username, and profile picture (if you upload one).
Payment information: transaction references, payment IDs, and UPI transaction IDs. We do not store card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or any sensitive payment credentials – these are processed securely by Razorpay.
Usage data: interactions with the platform (likes, dislikes, favorites, reports, chat messages).
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies (if any).

2. How We Use Your Information

To display your business listing on the platform.
To process payments and verify transactions.
To enable community features (likes, favorites, chat).
To improve our services and troubleshoot issues.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Data Retention

We retain your listing data for as long as your listing is active on the platform.
If you delete your listing, we remove it from public view but may retain a backup for up to 30 days for recovery purposes.
Account information (such as your email) is retained until you request deletion of your account.
Usage data (likes, chat messages) may be retained for up to 12 months for analytics and moderation.

4. Your Rights & Data Deletion Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at spacemossage@gmail.com.
We do not offer a self-service delete button. All deletion requests must be submitted via email.
Once we receive your verified deletion request, we will process it within 5 to 7 business days.
Please note that we may retain certain information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes even after your account is deleted.
If you only want to remove a specific listing (not your entire account), you can close it from the shop detail modal or email us – we will remove it within 2 to 3 business days.

5. Third-Party Processors

Firebase (Google): Provides authentication, database, and storage. Firebase Privacy Policy
Razorpay: Handles payment processing. Razorpay Privacy Policy
Google Fonts: Used for typography. Google Fonts Privacy

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.

Terms of Use – Mossage

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Mossage, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit (business listings, comments, reviews, and chat messages).
You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws.
Mossage reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may not post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
You may not harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
You may not post spam, malware, or malicious links.
You may not use the platform for any illegal purpose.

4. Intellectual Property

The platform’s design, logos, and pixel art are the property of Mossage and may not be reproduced without permission.
Users retain ownership of their content but grant Mossage a license to display and promote it on the platform.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mossage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months (if any).

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Refund Policy – Mossage

1. When are refunds available?
Refunds are considered only in these cases:

You paid for a listing, but the shop never appeared on the main page (technical failure during creation).
You were charged multiple times for the same listing.
Payment was processed but the order was not captured by Razorpay (you can verify via your bank statement).
You submitted a duplicate payment for the same listing.

Refunds are not provided for:

Listings that were successfully published (even if you later decide to remove or close your shop).
Listings removed due to violation of our Terms, Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines.
User mistakes (e.g., wrong category, misspelled name, incorrect address) after the shop is live.

2. Refund request process

Submit a refund request via the “Request Refund” button in your user menu (only appears if you have pending data).
Provide your UPI transaction ID (the reference number from your payment app).
Our admin team will verify the payment and the listing status.
If approved, the refund will be processed to the same UPI ID or original payment method.

3. Timelines

Admin review: Within 24–48 hours (working days) after submission.
Refund processing: Once approved, the refund is initiated within 3–5 working days.
Credit to your account: Depending on your bank/UPI provider, it may take 1–3 additional days to reflect in your account.

4. Important notes

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date.
Requests submitted after 7 days may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Mossage reserves the right to reject any refund request that appears fraudulent or does not meet the above criteria.
All decisions are final and at the sole discretion of the Mossage team.

If you see a violation, use the Report button on the shop detail modal.
Our team will review and take appropriate action.

5. Consequences

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.
Severe violations may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Appeal Process

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may contact us at spacemossage@gmail.com for review.

7. Positive Contribution

We encourage you to contribute positively by supporting local businesses and engaging in friendly conversation.
